Hello I have been trying to get into GTA:United for about a half year now and everyone i have asked and everything i have
tried hasn't worked so now i ask the people on this site for help. If you know something that might help PLZ post a reply
on how to do it in detail since i am very good at doing wrong.

Current Issue: I can see all the GTA:U servers but when i try to enter one i just comes into singleplayer.

I got GTA:United mod from this site: http://gta-worldmods.t-n-network.de/phpkit/start/include.php?path=content/download.php&contentid=3495
I got GTA:United HotFix from this site: http://gta-worldmods.t-n-network.de/phpkit/start/include.php?path=content/download.php&contentid=3957
I got GTA:U-MP from this site: http://forum.sa-mp.com/index.php?topic=112210.0 (at the end where there are some links)

Once again if you can help me please i have some other players who also wants to come to GTA united but just donno.
Help me and i can maybe help them into the game as well to populate the servers.

P.S I am using a sort of BETA for windows 7 but it's almost like Vista i assume so anything who solves a problem there might help me.

I assume when you try to connect, some white fade-in and fade-out shows up twice, and then it goes to Singleplayer.
Well i had this problem, and i could solve it by the weirdest way i've ever seen.
Apparently i did everything normal, but on copying GTA San Andreas folder, SA-MP 0.2X wasn't installed, nor any other samp version. I did copy the files to GTA United folder, tried to connect and the SP would boot instead of the MP (this happened to me in Vista, not on XP).

I then removed both GTASA and United folders, reinstalled GTASA, installed SAMP 0.2X (it was the up-to-date version by the time), made the copy of GTASA folder, installed GTAU, installed Hotfix, copied the GTAUMP T3 client files to GTA United folder, renamed d3d9.dll to d3d9.dll.gtau, right-clicked gta_sa.exe, went on Properties, Compatibility, and i set to run in compatibility mode of Windows 2000.
I ran gtaump.exe, went on Tools, Settings, clicked on the little folder and changed the directory to GTA United folder(i did this by precaution). Then I tried to run and it ran successfully.

Give it a try.
Try doing that.
