LOL I don't know it was suggested on our forums, I never played L4D.  I do want to download the demo for part 2 though and try it out, all I hear are great things about it.

Now imagine the situation, when you are behind a wall/small house/on a house/behind a car... (list can be continued!) and some1 pushes you back through the object.
So your system is not bugles, what means u have made a new way to abuse a bug. Tongue

You don't have this problem with SetPlayerVelocity, if this was 0.2x we would of had to make this with SetPlayerPos and then yes you would be able to go through objects.  If you watch the first part of the video he was pushing me in to a wall of the building I did not go through the building I only was falling against it.  

THIS IS WHY I LOVE SetPlayerVelocity Tongue  It actually has collision detection.

[Edit] Wait after reading you post again I think I miss understood, if a player is say on a roof (victim) the zombie yes can stand on the ground to push the victim off of the roof ( I intended for this ).  As long as the zombie is within range and exactly facing the victim he will push him.  Now the behind the building is well possible to do although very difficult because you can't see the victim in order to face him exactly to trigger the attack.

You should add to the feature, so that if there are any cars in the way between the zombie and the player, the car is moved (SetVehicleVelocity) but the player is unharmed, that way people can run behind cars for cover, and then the zombie can move the car Smiley

You had to get sounds out of Left 4 Dead 2 Demo.


Nope I created that sound myself I had a 4 second sample of a women screaming and a 3 second sample of a lions roar.  I then took one second from each and mixed it back to back 4 times, once I had my new 4 second loop, I added some reverb and chorus.

You can do custom sounds now?  Is it with one of those sound plugins?  Because I haven't tried them.

Oh fair enough...

You could put a bot as the drver then apply it...

Not exactly a practical solution mind you, and I don't think you can use it against bots? Never tried other than when they are on a route

I have planned for a higher ranked zombie to unlock Ultimate Screamer.  Which can move a vehicle.  Also the custom sound is through Incognito's audio plugin.
