There's nothing wrong with refunding, only refunding huge amounts. I remembered a server where I got 2 million, a car and drugs for no reason. That doesn't make sense: Nobody would work anymore

One Free Vehicle ( No Hunter / Hydra / Etc. )
Total Wealth : 75k
Free Skin Change

That was all I was honestly going to give you.

It is good to give a selection of your players some extra money, so there is a difference between rich and poor already.

I did the same on my server, I will release on Friday and untill then, new players can sign up for a so called "pre-release bonus". These are the first players that show beforehand they want to join, or at least try, the server.

Something else than giving any person that comes ingame 999 million dollar :P

Me too, vBulletin is nice but in my personal opinion not worth the extra money. I'm not a like business or something, just starting a community of people that like to roleplay, no need for vBulletin.

I just use PhpBB which is fine to us, didn't hear any member complaining about it so far

MyBB and phpBB have the same features of V Bulletin without having to pay extra $$$, so VBulletin is a waste of money.

The only reason I created my server is because I could not find ANY server of the type I love. I really love playing on Prison Roleplay servers and because they are known to be unsuccessful, there isn't any around.
If I was able to find a prison roleplay server, I would not have made mine.

@Tetris, prison RP always get boring one day or another. I prefer RP servers that have prison system (such as LS-RP)

True, these servers are mostly fun in the begin but later they get boring.

I thought about my server for 4-6 months and then, I reopened it once the script was ready and stable, so basically yeah, I agree that most server owners dont think before they open and I actually came across this absolute retard who was very very very very impatient, he use to say, he'll close the server if theres no players.

Not necessarily. I played prison role play for a long time, I just like it because it's more compact, a smaller player base will still be able to role play together because the map is smaller. But that is just my opinion anyway.
