Well, that clears it up.

The problem of blank overview tab when opening application with LOLFan.config file still persists though. If I delete that file and reopen the application it all works normally.

Usually, on a normal workload it just looks like this:

Relatable, 48c-50c is pretty normal my temps never go higher than 70c while playing csgo

Simple request, could you change the starting number of the CPU list to 0? Like CPU #0 being the first, it's odd to not see a CPU #0 listed. But that's a minor thing.

Will test for some time and report back any problems

Should've said that was the case when you posted those temps.

That is an interesting idea...

However with my PC I haven't done anything with the CPU for near 8 years, other than vacuuming out the heat-sink. I am going to be redoing its thermal paste though in the coming week as I'm building a new system, and will be using the extra paste on re-seating all my current boxes.

I also thought about this.

P.S. haven't said that the fan control works, have noticed that if you set the value it does nothing, but if you use the arrows it changes the fan speed.

True, the list starting from 1 is uncommon. Changed in code, though not in .exe yet.

Its actually intentional. You need to confirm the value with ENTER, so its not messing around with the fan while youre typing. I added a tooltip to clarify that

HDD temperatures get numbered now, should make it easier. Couldnt reproduce the problem with the overview tab yet though. Ill have to take a deeper look at that.

Ain't nobody got time to read them.

I saw there is more than 7 pages of it, that's like, a lot of text.

Tooltips are the popup stuff shown when hovering certain GUI elements, hints are the textblocks with detailled info
I think thats the best way to explain the usage without having to write long tutorials that even less people read.

Got my new rig now, and tried this thing. I's nice, as it offers clear readings on the 1st page without having to collapse tons of data.

However, I as well encounter the issue with the Overview tab described by BroZeus after I restart the app.
I can make the page behave normally again by going to the Monitor, disable the "Show in Overview" option and re-enabling it again.

Also another problem I found is that the CPU cooler is not detected (no controls for it). It has 2 fans are both connected to one slot on the motherboard.
I do have 6 other fans connected to the case fan hub (it makes sense that they aren't detected). The only detected fan is that of the GPU.

Good job Mauzen, it actually shows way more useful info in one place than Speedfan + Core Temp.

If you plan to add System Tray Icons that show (for example) the Core Temperature of the hottest CPU or GPU Core and maybe CPU/RAM Load, I'd definitely use this over Core Temp.
