It's thanks to sa-mp that today I became a developer. If it wasn't for the sa-mp community probably I would never became interested in programming.

I'm happy to see, that this multiplayer and its community still exists, even in 2017. I'm playing SA-MP since more than 7 years and used to script since about 6 years. Even if I had to smile a bit about Sasinos english, I could say the same about this game and how it made me get my job.
Since I started to learn to script in pawn, I knew, that I love to script. So I kept scripting for different communities, servers and so on. In 2014 I became student in a class for C# programming and since this summer, I'm a full time software developer in a small company. Well, I'm pretty sure that if I wouldn't have started to play this game and to script for servers, I would have another job that wouldn't be as much fun for me as it is now. Thank you and let's hope for some updates!

Well played! I hope that you'd take care of samp as much as you could!

Thinking...
G00gle isn't closing or going down... It would make no sense to find out about SA-MP while I'm on its forum... lmao

I think of some possibilities:
1 - Kalcor is developing a major update that will bring many new things to create greater competitiveness with MTA.

2 - Kalcor is developing a new SA: MP, abandoning the entire current system of programming language and interface, to bring something more professional as well as MTA.

Kalcor is simply abandoning SA: MP forever and will do so simply by leaving the forum and leaving the players on account, using the mod while there are a medium number of players and soon after, It.

Which is unlikely considering that some of the beta testers would have the good sense to explain the situation to the world.

Call me crazy or not, but I love SA: MP and I do not want it to end, even if there is still the MTA.
I think that Kalcor is abandoned SA:MP forever. GTA San Andreas is very old. Support this multiplayer is nonsense. Especially each time more new games are release. Disadvantageously. I am sorry if I had broken yours hope.

Well, it actually gives advantage to Kalcor as long as he doesn't abandon it. SA:MP itself is free but the hosted servers which are listed on the hosted tab list aren't, which means SA:MP is not a non-profit modification. And yeah I see too many new games are released but all of them or most of them require high specifications in order to 'play' them properly while GTA:SA itself doesn't even require %50 of what the new games does. Its not nonsense to support something which already succeeded but after all its up to Kalcor if he wishes to continue or not, complaining about it not being updated wouldn't make Kalcor change his mind if he already decided not to continue.
