Forum Choice? What do you recommand..

phpBB has categories and sections inside.

You create a category like: "Player Zone" and in this category you add "Introduce yourself" - "Ban Appeals" - "Report a player" and so on.

The little hard thing are the permissions for groups/categories/sections.They are quite hard if you never used phpBB,but you should learn in not much time.

For me, the best free one is phpBB, but if you got money I'd recommend vBulletin

Thanks i will probably go for phpbb, was thinking about it as well, and like you guys mention it have tons you can do for it for free.

vBulletin is nice as well.. but not worth $200

I would go with the SMF.

It's great and easy to use. Kinda has no down times or problems.

It's nice but lack some things like the legends and color groups still :P I know they have legends now.. but not for my liking like phpbb and vbulletin.

Well, if I have the money, I wouldn't think twice in bothering whether to buy it or not, But as far as simplicity goes, I would prefer SMF as a Personal Choice, never have used phpbb or mybb but I think I like SMF as for the quality and the security and the moderation, I will try the phpbb soon though, heard it's very good as it's flexible not only in the forum but in installing mods too
