Re: SA-MP 0.3z on Windows 98/Me comp. launches immediately?

I found a fix myself. Will leave this thread here if anyone else gets the problem.

Fixed it by renaming the GTA San Andreas folder to "GTA San Andreas X", then setting the compatibility of SAMP to...

Question [Fixed] SA-MP 0.3z on Windows 98/Me comp. launches immediately?

I just installed GTA:SA + SAMP on a Windows 8 machine. I applied a downgrade patch, but SAMP kept crashing after the loading screens. I set GTASA to compatibility with XP/SP3 and SAMP with 98/Me, and...

Re: Angel pine arorodrome BETA 1

It's the bay right below Palomino Creek. I don't give a flying fuck what you call it, it's still Palomino Creek.

Re: Pirate treasure

Cool.

I would've wished you had made it in-land somewhere, like in a lake. Because the camera always bugs when out in the ocean. :(

Re: Angel pine arorodrome BETA 1

It's an airport in the water of Palomino Creek Bay, and it does not look good.

Sorry to say.

Re: Plates

Look, isn't there a max lenght of the number plate? Like 7/8 chars? You should check what yours is, ColdXX.

EDIT: Try set it to "Ohai" or something, to see if it's the lenght?

Re: Opinions on my Mapping

The overall mapping isn't all that great, I sadly see a lot of errors and less-good-looking things.

But the rock-moving cavern caught me off guard, that was great. Good job on that one.

Re: [Interior] Realistic Church

Thanks. :)

The walls: I was inspired a bit by a map made by someone else, it's the church building in SF, turned to look like walls. (Inside of wall = outside of the church building)

Hope...

Re: YOU ARE HURT,GO TO COVER!

For one, none of your timers returns a value(I'm pretty sure they should).

Also, I don't see why you'd have two timers running, when all you need is one. True, with my script the player may wait a...

Re: YOU ARE HURT,GO TO COVER!

I'll do it.

// Top of script:
new LoseHealth[MAX_PLAYERS];

// OnPlayerConnect:
LoseHealth[playerid] = SetTimerEx("healthloss", 60000, 1, "%d", playerid);

// Bottom of script:
forward...

Re: What function would i use.

You all fail.

IsPlayerInRangeOfPoint checks if the player is within a certain range.

OP wants to find out what the range is.

You will need a custom stock I'm afraid, but I can't seem to find...

Re: Problem with faces

Because they all face the same direction and the cameras do not. You have to put the facing angle to face the camera. This should really be obvious.

Strange. Try [28] instead? I think that's the max, though I'm not sure.

Re: size array prob

Do this, in the enum where you define "ownername":

ownername[MAX_PLAYER_NAME];

When the array has no length, it cannot store any letters in it. By giving it the length of the longest name...
