I would, but I lost the source code some years ago when I changed hard drives. What would you have me do?

Re: QuickPawn v2.1 (Multi Platform PAWN editor and compiler)

Hi Seegras,

The command line compiler should be bundled with QuickPawn (pawncc and pawncc.exe). I hope this helps.

Re: QuickPawn v2.1 (Multi Platform PAWN editor and compiler)

Does Sublime text have a build in compiler for PAWN? I don't think so; that's one advantage. Why not try it and see what you prefer? :)

Re: QuickPawn v2.1 (Multi Platform PAWN editor and compiler)

What kind of a comment is that? This is more than just a text editor; try it.

Can you give me a wee bit more information please?

Such as.. what Operating System are you using, and have you tried compiling with any other programs?

Thanks. :)

Re: Re : QuickPawn v2.1 (Multi Platform PAWN editor and compiler)

I would look into adding all of that if I had the time currently.

I work full time as a PHP programmer and I lost my NetBeans project for QuickPawn, I'd have to start again from scratch basically...

Re: QuickPawn v2.1 (Multi Platform PAWN editor and compiler)

It's been quite a while since the last post so I'm bumping this thread to allow new PAWN scripters to see it.

Re: QuickPawn v2.1 (Multi Platform PAWN editor and compiler)

Re: QuickPawn v2.1 (Multi Platform PAWN editor and compiler)

Possibly. I had to go direct to the creators of PAWN to get the Linux compiler; so I can't imagine it would be absolutely correct for Linux; however it does actually compile some of the scripts (at...

Re: QuickPawn v2.1 (Multi Platform PAWN editor and compiler)

Hi, you just extract the .zip then run the "QuickPawn.jar" file by clicking it and it should open. Make sure you have Java (http://java.com) installed!

Re: QuickPawn v2.1 (Multi Platform PAWN editor and compiler)

Why are you telling me to do this? I'm here to help with any problems relating to QuickPawn. This seems to be to do with the script?

This is the error I get when trying to compile grandlarc.pwn:

I don't properly know why it doesn't work considering I'm not a PAWN scripter.

Thanks for...

Re: QuickPawn v2.1 (Multi Platform PAWN editor and compiler)

I didn't have grandlarc.pwn on my install so I compiled lvdm.pwn instead.

It seemed to work fine on Windows 7 (64-bit):

Re: Re : QuickPawn v2.1 (Multi Platform PAWN editor and compiler)

The reason it says it's compiled is because the .amx file was created. It's a pretty crude method of detecting whether it compiled or not I admit.

I don't know much about the PAWN language but I...
