I've noticed this affects the way the client pings on the SA-MP client browser. Is that the intention? May confuse some players (relatively new ones) that may think the server is lagging

What's wrong with the location? Where is it?

If its in a bad location, you can always set an interior id & virtual world id. To prevent any overlapping issues.
