Re: Teamspeak Connector

No, but you can check if a client already has the group id set before actually setting it:

const MY_CHANNEL_GROUP_ID = 123;
const MY_CHANNEL_ID = 321;

// ...

new channelid =...

Re: Loaded AMX viewer

There is actually a mechanism already implemented into the abstract machine, called the "debug hook". It's basically a callback function that gets called on every BREAK opcode. Check the PAWN...

Re: MySQL [R41-2] Registration System

So I was bored and looked through the code, and somehow thought that I already saw that code somewhere. Then I remembered: this looks a lot like the example login script from the plugin repository!...

Re: [REL] MySQL Plugin (Now on github!)

A good question actually!
The MariaDB client library is compatible to MySQL and MariaDB servers. If this changes in the future, I'll make separate builds which use the MariaDB and the MySQL client...

Re: [REL] MySQL Plugin (Now on github!)

I'm always trying to use the latest available log-core version. So if you use the latest version of both plugins, the log-core should be the same. If you're not sure however, you can always download...

Re: [REL] MySQL Plugin (Now on github!)

R41-4 has been released.
Changelog:
- bug-fix: multi-line queries are not parsed correctly from files
- Windows 'libmariadb.dll' was faulty; this resulted in a connection error for some users
...

Re: [REL] MySQL Plugin (Now on github!)

I could implement that, however this would require me to cache all values of the registered PAWN variables and always check if the value changed before generating the query. This likely has a bigger...

Re: mysql_pquery crashing server

Can you show us the code where that call to "OnCharacterLoaded" is happening? (it's probably a mysql_pquery call too)

Re: [REL] MySQL Plugin (Now on github!)

No, that's not true. R39-6 is as stable as R41-3.

Re: [REL] MySQL Plugin (Now on github!)

I've meant the Discord plugin when I wrote about updating "it".
And Jesus Christ you don't have to rewrite anything, use any version you're comfortable with. Nobody is forcing you to use the latest...

Re: mysql_pquery vs mysql_tquery

Use pquery to load data. Loading data implies using callbacks (why the hell would you fetch data from the SQL server without using it).
mysql_pquery also doesn't magically fix data races and other...

Re: [REL] MySQL Plugin (Now on github!)

R41-3 has been released.
Changelog:
- updated log-core to v0.4

Make sure to update the log plugin also to v0.4 if you're using it.
The Discord connector plugin won't work after updating the...

Re: mysql_pquery vs mysql_tquery

This.

Use mysql_pquery to fetch a lot of data at the same time, like at player login. Imagine if you did a fresh server restart and suddenly dozens of users are logging in simultaneously. You'll...

Re: [REL] MySQL Plugin (Now on github!)

This is a sampgdk limitation. While calling plugin natives with sampgdk_native_invoke and passing reference parameters may work with "simple" functions, like GetDynamicObjectPos(STREAMER_TAG_OBJECT...

Re: [REL] MySQL Plugin (Now on github!)

The problem is, that the log core uses a function (GetNativeParamsPtr) to get the parameters pointer which was passed to a native function. Parameters are always pushed onto the stack, that's why...

Doing the change Wopss wrote is okay, here's the commit that introduced this. (https://github.com/pBlueG/SA-MP-MySQL/commit/18417ae3c64409184f5876c68f126008aca0b060)

However I'd suggest you...

How exactly don't they work?

Use TSC_AddClientToServerGroup(clientid, groupid); to add a TS client to a server group.

Re: Updating BlueG's MySQL plugin R33+ scripts to R40

Sorry for the late reply.
I've done this on purpose. I tried to design this tutorial as a step-by-step guide on converting scripts. That's only one step of many. The next step after that one is to...

Re: Discord for SA-MP?

I'm working on it. Shouldn't take long until I release the first version.
The plugin runs smoothly so far (sending and receiving text messages). Currently testing for stability and bugs.

Re: [REL] MySQL Plugin (Now on github!)

I've added backward-compatibility macros around R21 (same time I've added mysql_tquery), and removed them completely in R40. Maybe you've just read a wrong tutorial which still used/suggested the old...

Re: [REL] MySQL Plugin (Now on github!)

Read the conversion tutorial: http://forum.sa-mp.com/showthread.php?t=616103
Also "mysql_function_query" (there is no such thing as "mysql_format_query") is deprecated since R21 I think.
