Re: Gates not moving

Well since GMod is for Half Life, and you've not said which mode it is. No, no clue.

Re: [Mysql] I have a doubt

Some more issues with creating tables for each faction (and I must echo everyone else's point that this is a terrible idea): 1) It would require your database user to have database manipulation...

Re: Storing NOW() mysql to a variable?

Worry about code first. Worry about performance if you ever start seeing issues with it, not before.

Re: OnPlayerConnect not being called

Are you using the correct client/server versions? This really doesn't seem like a problem with your callback any more.

Re: Storing NOW() mysql to a variable?

Are you seriously asking about the performance implications of a single function call, called once every few days? How hard do you think getting the current time is?

Re: OnPlayerConnect not being called

That says invalid client kicked. So OnPlayerConnect isn't called because you don't connect.

Re: OnPlayerConnect not being called

Are you sure:

a) The callback isn't called? I see you have a print at the start, which is a good first debugging step, but the format is wrong - you have three specifiers but only one extra...

Re: How To: Cooldowns

While the gist is good, I feel this tutorial is still a little lenient on timers. Someone could read this and get the impression that timers are OK, and so acceptable while there are alternative...

Re: [Help] Integer case

This is an extremely complex operation, revealed only to the best mathematicians in the world. It is called "multiplication", with your example being the worst possible case - "multiplication by 10".

Re: Potentially Laggy Filterscript

That sounds like a PC. So I can tell you that the with the number of players you will get on a home-hosted server, performance will never be an issue.

Re: Potentially Laggy Filterscript

Why not test it? There's a profiler plugin. We can't say what will be slow without seeing a) how well you wrote it or b) what machine you are running it on.

Re: Assistance Needed | error 035: argument type mismatch (argument 2)

Well yes. You can't just replace functions with others randomly, they have different parameters and uses. Maybe they did replace the calls, but also the parameters with them.

Re: Org Infos not loading

Check the IDs, you are loading an array index from the database, that's not usually correct. A database ID is internal to the database, while a script ID is assigned at load time based on how many...

Re: [Help] Returning "Null"

“fast” doesn’t mean “good”. And an include "should" be used, not "could" be used. However, not DOF.

Re: what is #pragma dynamic?

That’s YSI, not sampctl, and is documented here:
