Default CentOS 7 - Are you going to use it?

Like the title says, CentOS 7 has been released. I'd like to know how many CentOS users are going to upgrade to it (it's actually pretty important for me because of the new gcc compiler version shipped with it, which means I can code my plugins better), so just leave your comment here and/or participate in the poll.

I guess it won't be many at the beginning (since they only provide a 64bit version at the moment and the current release still has some minor bugs), but it still would be good to know.

I switched to ubuntu a couple of weeks ago, so, nope.

And my other vps runs on centos 6.5 (some web-stuff and ts3). Haven't looked thoroughly at centos7, but i don't see why i'd upgrade.

RedHat bloat? Wat?

I would NOT recommend Gentoo for all users. Gentoo is more for the extreme power user. Having used both Gentoo and CentOS, I prefer CentOS because it's much simpler to use.

As far as CentOS goes I may look into playing around with CentOS 7, however, I am a little weary of CentOS after the drama that occurred in their team (well, mostly with their founder), a couple years back.

What I've learned to do with stuff like OS updates is to wait it out for at least 6 months to a year of a new large release version. 6.5 is a stable release and normally CentOS/RHEL still release a update or two towards older versions before stopping as full updates still run till 2016.

Also they are making it so you can upgrade from 6 to 7 without having to format, so I would wait and save your time when this is ready.
