Well 270x would have some better performance but 750Ti will be mmore worth.
Reasons: it uses lesspower consumption and is based upon newer chips.
It dont REQURIE an extra PCI-E adapter which would save you some bucks, while if you buy 270x you need a better PSU aswell.

Therefore i would say 750Ti

The 270x wrecks the 750TI, you'll get much more performance from it, there is a power consumption difference but that is because it is way better than the 750ti

The 750 ti isnt a gaming card. Its a pretty fresh architecture, but that one was mainly meant to have more performance/watt, but not more performance in general. You cant play modern games well with the 750 ti, even the cheaper gtx 660 would do a better job.

The 270x will give you about 50% more performance for the same price. Sure it will drain up to 100 watts more power, but if youre looking for a strong card the power consumption rather is a secondary aspect. Also, when playing with framelimiting or vsync, the 270x wont run at full power in games, where the 750ti probably wont even reach the 60 fps, so the difference in power consumption wont be that drastic.

I said 750ti at first cuz i thought CPU MIGHT bottleneck higher cards. Also i got confused with R7 260x there so sorry about it.
But carefully inspecting features i would say 270x will do fine and yeah it beats 660.
Make sure you have good quality PSU. Though a 600w is likely to have some good quality. Just saying..

Where did you get that assumption from? He stated he has an i5, so it wouldn't even bottlekneck, even then it's better to go with the best card you can get at the time, a good 500w will more than handle your system.

My i3 4130 doesn't bottleneck the GTX 760 in most of games.

Hey guys, I got another question!

I have got €450,-($619.90) to spend, but I suck at figuring out what hardware is good or not. So I was hoping some of you guys could perhaps recommend one!

It will mainly be used for school stuff(Working with VMWare and IT related stuff) and some minor gaming.

Thank you in advance!

VMWare will need a good cpu and a bit of ram, but the gpu isnt too important if you dont really game too much. Are you looking for a whole new system o just to upgrade? Also, laptop or desktop? Im guessing laptop because you want to be mobile for school.
