Default SAMP Gamemode GDK in C++

Hello,

I'm planning to try using C++ to code a samp server.
The thing is, I have no idea what to put in server.cfg for the configuration to work for the C++.
I've followed this post to set everything up. It compiles and everything is fine.

However, I have no idea how to access it through the SA-MP Launcher, and I can't find any guide.
Can anyone point me to a guide or tell me how?

Hello, forgive my insecurity, but I think that the result you have to obtain from the compilation is a .dll or .so, which you can add as one more plugin in the samp server. idk does c++ have any benefits for gamemode, because its syntax is already so hard and full gamemode writing with this will take too much time.

Using c ++,c to develop your server can have many benefits, it is a much more strong language with more tools. But for practical purposes, I agree with you. I would recommend it only if it is really necessary and you know what you do, or if what you do is not serious and you just want to play with code.

+Rep, Thank you! You've given me exactly what I needed.

The issue was just to link my DLL file, I've never actually made a plugin before so I was unaware of plugins folder.

Well, to be honest with you I wish it was possible for the programmer to choose between PAWN and C++ because I would definitely be team C++, but I think this is as good as it gets.

I prefer programming in an OOP environment, which PAWN just doesn't provide which is why code duplication is easier and it can get messy really fast. If I remember correctly, it didn't even support structures, and it was purely a functional language.
