SAMP won't die as long as people find it fun and entertaining, look at older games such as CS 1.6 that are still being played by thousands every day. The gameplay experience is what makes something running and GTA SA + SAMP is the perfect combination for that. So yeah, SAMP Won't die no time soon.

Mods cant do shit, What mod can do is only to kick\jail the hacker.

The hacker can join again if he got kicked and Use airbreak to get out of the jail.

Last time i checked, and i checked now, there are 300+ servers on Hosted Tab and around 52,000 players playing at the moment.

Actually the guys crying "samp is dead" or "need more UPDATEZZZZ" arent running (successful) servers. They wont ever understand that its actually the scripter who improves a server, not kalcor. Of course, they dont know that pure scripting can already achieve basically everything ever needed for a server, updates might make the job easier for the scripter, but theres barely a thing thats impossible to make without further updates.
If samp "dies" its because the community fails to keep their servers interesting, not because theres no update for a while.

Anti flood, airbreak check, anti AFK, weapon hack detection, etc - have all been implemented. Apologies for the issues.
