Does the decompiler work for normal unprotected scripts, and does this technique actually still work to stop it?

Now that'd be cool if both are yes lol.

So, i have tested this with diffrent gamemodes and on some it seems to not work, might be connected to them, having code similar to the AntiDeAMX code

Decompilers do work but converted source will be completely untidy. Though, it can still be used to guess the codes or methods used. The method mentioned in this topic used to work before but there are new decompilers that can even work against this. However, using #emit seems to confuse them or take a lot of time to decompile. I assume there's also another tutorial regarding anti-deamx.

Currently inactive - I don't play at any SA-MP servers nor work on anything in PAWN for now. The projects that I've done so far in PAWN, which requires updates will be taking some time.

Would be interessting to see one of those newer decompilers, can u provide any links? Becasuse, i didn't find any.

Don't pass up links in here for the decompiler, or methods of how to get it working, as this thread is to negate the use of it.

It's like having an anti-cheat thread and have people listing cheats and methods of getting around the anti-cheat in the thread.

+1 on this but also -1 on this. Because if there are new decompilers that can just skip this then, people will want to read here more and learn if there are new ways in next pages. Also sharing another decompiler on here is like bringing up new challange to protect gamemodes for scripters here and help other scripters like me. I believe this new #emit code should be added to first post too if that works for good, dont you think?

I dont say there aren't any posts already regarding to that, but this is the biggest topic that one can find on this forum i believe. So topic owner can give a link to original forum thread that owner copied the post from and give credits to it in first post for how to lock new decompilers.

That's the point.

If you don't post, don't point it out, people will ignore it. "who will know about this anyway"

Putting the gun on the table you make them worry.

You need to point out so people will know the vulnerabilities.
You need to point out so others can contribute and tell how to fix it
You need to point out so the author/scripter won't forget!

I posted up advising people not to spread links to the decompiler. None of your points address what the advisement was about.

You could go the modular route and not have to worry about someone decompiling your script.
