Yeah, but it does. I can't explain it either, but I suggested it as a fix in another Win10 thread and it worked there too.

It's a very simple thing to do anyways so why would you complain?

I'm not complaining, just that the old tried methods will work the same, if not better.


The big re-installing, but not just reinstalling, but deletion of the original folder and installation to a NEW path, fixes most.

That mklink also changes the gta_sa.exe to gtasa.exe.


The only thing I could think that it is inadvertently doing is removing the compatibility settings for the exe.
