Default Compiling .so on Windows

Is there an easy way to compile a .so on Windows? I cba switching to Linux every time I want to test what I've made on the remote server.
I'm totally new to this but if anyone could give me a hint I'd appreciate it.

I use free VMware Server 1 (2 is very slow)
And install to them linux
