Default AW: I crash at the loading screen when the loading bar is about 75% full.

By looking at this topic it seems to be an issue with Windows 7.

Deinstall GTA:SA and install it into a different directory, then downgrade it to 1.0 and install SA-MP 0.3e R2 (eventually as an administrator). This might fix your problem.

Default Re: I crash at the loading screen when the loading bar is about 75% full.

I am using windows 8, I get this issue when I run both samp.exe and gta_sa.exe on compatability mode. It crashes at 75% of the loading screen. When I remove the compatability, it just doesn't let me play, doesn't even let me through the loading screen.
